Lion Dance conditioning

2016 is almost upon us and that means Chinese New Year is just a couple of months away. For traditional kung fu folks this often means revving up the conditioning routines like, right about now, to get ready for several weeks of lion dance performances.

Do you have a specific set of exercises you do for lion dancing? Do they differ from your regular training routine? Does the entire team train together frequently or are you on your own when it comes to getting ready?

Just more. More moving in

Just more. More moving in horses, more cardio, more strength. We're going to start using our dedicated Sanda fighters this year. They don't know it yet though. We use just a couple of routines unless something specific is requested, so it won't be hard for them to pick up not being "fu people".

But just more.
