I am really interested in Qing Gong, or the Lightness Skill, My teacher says that there are two ways to advance in it, one it Physical. That is basically working on your legs to be able to jump as high and long as you can. And Internal, which involves using your Qi to lighten your body to allow you...
While making a chi ball after meditating it felt like I was holding a volleyball between my hands. Pressing my hands closer together I could feel the concavity of a pressured ball. I haven't had a chi experience this strong before. It really was amazing.
how do you harness chi and be able to use it?
I hear stuff about damaged internal organs from doing gi gong wrong, and longevity and qi cultivation from doing it right... But, what does qi gong do for you scientifically? My guess is improve blood flow, acts as physical exercise, strengthens lungs through breathing, breath control, allows...

i have heard that tendon relaxsation is a key aspect of qi gong. the problem is that i have a mild disability (considering how severe it could be) that means my tendons in my legs are tight and so some positions in qi gong are quite difficult for me. have any of you heard of any qi gong or even...
Hello, I do the yi jing jing training attributed to Damo in Dr. Yang Jwing-Mings book on chigong. I have a few questions I would like to pose. 1. Is it better to do more forms for shorter amounts of time, or to do less forms for longer 2. On the exhale it is said to concentrate on the...
Hello, I'm new here, and I was wondering if I could get some help with my Qi. My Sifu (technically my Sigung, but he insists on being called Sifu...anyways) keeps telling me that I have too much Yin energy, which is especially disconcerting since I am in fact a guy. My sifu (actual sifu) told me...

Hello everyone, as you all know I am pretty much an "external" martial artist, I enjoy it very much and don't really feel like changing. :D However I have never been taught any serious Chi Gong exercises, and I am wondering if there is basic stuff I can do on my own and learn on my own, just to...

YouTube - New John Chang video This is a "documentary" based on this healer from Java set in 1987. I, of course, am exceptionally skeptical (partially because my dad is a magician who performs tricks like these). The cuts of the film never allow a continuous feed, and there is plenty of room...

Hi. I was wondering if there are anyone who knows about any good qigong meditation techniques, that I can do daily? My goal is to do a qigong meditation session each day, so that I will be able to transfer my chi into any bodypart, and make it stronger or harder:wallbash: Any suggestions? ...

Does any one practice inversions (headstand, handstand, shoulder stand) as chi kung? How do you practice the postures? What breathing are you taught with them? Where did the system originate? What benefits do you feel you gain?
Alrighty, I am looking to discuss in detail with some people who know about the transformation of jing to qi to shen. Nitty gritty detailed stuff (I hope) as I am trying to get a real handle on this process. I have been told that some of the sets I do will cause the transformation to take place,...
