Pro- Jackie Chan has, without a doubt, led an extremely interesting life. It seems all of his trials and tribulations are explored in this biography. He is very frank about his personality and how it has changed through his experiences, how the events of his life has shaped him, and how he has dealt with adversity to arrive at a place he wants to be. Its very inspiring to see what he has been able to accomplish.
Con- This is not necessarily a martial text, just a biography on a true pioneer in Kung Fu cinema. I doubt anyone’s martial prowess could be augmented by this text, but it is a good read.
Overall I would recommend this book to any Jackie Chan fan. Learning about the man behind the characters is very fascinating and makes for a very fun and quick read.

The book is actually written by a ghost writer, who admitted that he added quite a bit of the details to fill out the book, due to Chan's English skills at the time.
However, it is still a very good read.

Pros:
|
Fun, interesting and entertaining look at the life of one of the greatest stunt-kung fu artists ever.

|
Cons:

Not enough information into Jackie's Kung Fu

This book is by far one of the most entertaining and interesting (auto)biographies I have ever read - and I LIKE reading biographies!
It was especially interesting to read Jackie's remembrances from his time in the Peking Opera school with the rest of the "Seven Little Fortunes," which included such heavy hitting names in the Kung Fu Movie business as Jackie (of course), Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, Corey Yuen, and Yuen Wah.
Great and inspirational reading - I would highly recommend it.
