Pro- This book is my favorite Jujitsu reference within my library. The book is totally instructional and is formatted in a way I very much enjoyed. There are more pictures than words, and if a picture is worth a thousand words, this little book should be a tome. Step-by-step photos are given for every throw, lock, and strike, and most will continue to a point of applying a strike/submission finishing maneuver. I personally used this as a valuable tool to aid in my grappling training years back. All it took was a little experience, a willing partner, and this book to come up with some very good skills. As it stands I still have over a dozen bookmarks in this book.
Con- There is very little I would look to criticize in this book. I do wish more leg-locking techniques were demonstrated, but with the plethora of techniques already inside I will have a to deal! The area dealing with striking was not very well represented though, and could have been better. But the focus of this book was grappling.
Overall I would recommend this book to anyone remotely interested in grappling arts. There is a lot of really good information in here.
