I think this book is a really usefull guide for the beginner with a Nunchaku. It has a good spread of basic techniques and concentrates on strikes and blocks in the first section which many people may not think of.
Techniques are shown in pictures with good descriptions of the moves to help you work it out. It is a help to training as it gives you something to follow!
It has a bit of history and some descriptions, but on the cons side, it is full of pictures with only a little text.
