I can't say enough about this movie.
You saw HERO right? Its got nothing on this movie.
No wire acts, just pure erpic story.
This is a story of Korean Emissaries trying there best to keep their word, retain there honor and get home alive.
They have to avoid the Ming Army and the mongols of the Yuan Empire. Ultimately its a lesson in Pride, keeping ones word and how acts of heroism can come from an unlikely places.
The Martial Arts is pretty good, ok great, realistic and gritty. It was gory at times so dont watch it with the kiddies or the weak of heart.
Also it's a bit of a tear jerker a la Braveheart and Private Ryan in your typical asian story fashion.
Defnitely one of my new favorites of all time though.
It was 130 minutes of edge of your seat, compelling, dare I say emotionally stirring story.
You are going to love it. And if you dont, then you are wrong.
Phew...I'm Gonna have to go watch it again.
