The book goes quite deeply into the historical and philosophical backgrounds, and unfortunately like most martial arts books, ends up having low quality pictures, reduced in size and then having a multitude placed on one page.
Whilst I like the idea of having them there as a reference, the fact they are so small, it is very difficult to interpret as to the movements and the coherency between 'frames'.
The book does NOT go into enough detail about the use of weapons, nor does it say anything different than the mass-marketed-straight-from-downtown-china stuff does.
Shame really. I like the guy, but the book was a let down.
